M is a champ at tummy time. I really think this was a silver lining from his stay in the NICU. They were able to allow him to sleep on his tummy on day 2 because he was monitored constantly.
Here he is "reading" his favorite book...Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. One of my favorites from when I taught preschool. We've been having a lot of fun reading it together...it amazes me how it calms him down and how he looks at the different pages.
(Above) Saturday morning mat time. :) M loves his activity mat! He bats away at the fish with the rattles. There is an octopus for it as well that he loves...I've name it Blue. :) One day M's hand got stuck in the fish teether ring attached to Blue and he screamed. When I realized what I happened I asked M if Blue attacked him. I swear he was pissed at Blue for the rest of the time he was on the mat. :)
Saturday afternoon we went for a walk in the woods at the park. The weather was absolutely perfect for the walk...sunny and in the high 60s. The dogs loved getting out of the house and out for some exercise. Garnett did really well and seems to be completely back to himself after his surgery. We splurged and purchased the Bo.b stroller last weekend...it handled the trail like a champ! There was actually some rough terrain and M did not mind it at all thanks to his new ride.
So I am not exactly where to go with my blog...I don't really picture myself as a "Mommy blogger" but I also don't want to lose the connections I've made thanks to my spot in the blogging world. So if y'all have any suggestions or if there is anything you'd like to learn or hear about from me just let me know! :)
The hat is cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) We may live in TX but M will grow up a Boston sports fan!
DeleteGreat to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteI've been struggling with the mom blogger thing, too, and I've decided to just shut down my old blog because it doesn't feel like the right place to go on and on about happy baby stuff. I'll likely start a new blog for this new chapter in my life.
Aw he's so adorable!!! As for your blog dilemma...I've struggled with that a bit, but my blog is so many thing that I just go with it. It's not like I'm a famous blogger, but I write what I like. You don't have to be one category.
